Tia Carrere received the GRAMMY Award for Best Hawaiian Album for 2010 for her solo project Huana Ke Aloha. She was also nominated for her solo album Hawaiiana for 2007.
Tia Carrere & Daniel Ho received the GRAMMY AWARD for Best Hawaiian Album for 2008, for their duo album ‘ikena. Their followup album He Nani also received a nomination for Best Hawaiian Album for 2009.
Daniel Ho is co-producer, along with Paul Konweiser, Wayne Wong and George Kahumoku, Jr., on four compilations of traditional Hawaiian music from the “Slack Key Masters” show on Maui: Masters of Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar for 2005, Legends of Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar Live from Maui for 2006, Treasures of Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar for 2007, and Masters of Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar vol. 2 for 2009. Daniel was also nominated for his solo ‘ukulele album Pōlani for 2010.
